Crossover to ITDA-IHMP

Crossover allows divers and instructors from other recognized training organizations to transfer to the ITDA-IHMP system and continue their professional development without unnecessarily repeating experience and qualifications they have already obtained.

ITDA-IHMP Agency Slovakia provides crossover opportunities for Slovak divers, Dive Masters and instructors, with information and consultations available in Slovak.

The specific scope of the crossover depends on the diver's or instructor's current qualification, experience and level. Before the process begins, previous training and existing qualifications are assessed.

Recreational, sport, technical or cave divers may continue their training within the ITDA-IHMP system based on their existing qualifications.

Crossover can be a suitable option for divers who want to expand their qualifications, progress to a higher level or become part of the ITDA-IHMP Agency Slovakia system.

The assessment takes into account previous qualifications, practical experience and the requirements of the relevant ITDA-IHMP level.

A Dive Master or diver holding an equivalent qualification from another training organization may continue into the ITDA-IHMP instructor training program after meeting the applicable requirements.

• Medical IHMP Instructor – medical and rescue training instructor.

If you are already a certified instructor with another recognized diving organization, you may request an assessment of your qualifications and crossover to ITDA-IHMP.

The goal is to recognize relevant experience and qualifications while familiarizing the instructor with the ITDA-IHMP system, its standards, training programs and administrative procedures.
